Dr. Vandemoer addresses the various aspects of facial plastic surgery from your initial consultation to examples of most of the procedures that can improve facial appearance which include nose reshaping, eyelifts, facelifts and other less invasive procedures such as FDA-approved Botox, Restylane, Radiesse, Juvederm, laser surgery, peels, and cosmetics.  Photographs of actual patients are presented.

Our seminars are held at our 68 Camp Street, Hyannis office promptly at 7:00 PM. Ample parking is available and light refreshments are provided. Our seminars last 1 to 1 1/2 hours and are followed by a question and answer period.

Dr. Vandemoer is pleased to offer Radiesse, Restylane and Juvederm for the improvement of facial lines and wrinkles. Because each of our dermal fillers is designed with a specific line in mind, Dr. Vandemoer ensures every patient is scheduled with adequate consultation time during which he and the patient together determine the correct choice of filler.

Radiesse safely and effectively addresses and corrects the deeper lines normally found around the nose and mouth. Restylane smooths the finer lines found around the lips, eyes, and forehead. Juvederm, the newest of the dermal fillers offered, helps to restore the skin’s volume and smooth away wrinkles and folds such as “smile lines.”

FACIAL AND HAIR MINIMIZING LASER

Dr. Vandemoer offers various lasers to address the problem of facial lines and wrinkles, brown discoloration, tattoos and broken blood vessels in addition to the newest concept in laser skin renewal, the laser facial. The laser facial works to correct fine lines and wrinkles, evens skin tone and improves skin texture for a healthier, more refreshed look.

Dr. Vandemoer's extensive experience in laser surgery now extends to the removal of unwanted hair on the face, neck, chin, upper lip and other areas of the body. In general, three to four treatments are necessary to achieve the result of the loss of most hair in these areas. The hair that does reappear is much finer and lighter in character and can be retreated if necessary.

BOTOX

In addition to laser surgeries, we offer FDA-approved Botox treatments to reduce and sometimes even remove wrinkles between the eyebrows and around the forehead and eyes. This simple procedure is an excellent way to improve lines without undergoing invasive operations.

SOMNOPLASTY Procedures

Somnus Technology has produced an instrument that improves and can sometimes even eliminate snoring via surgery on the palate without causing the severe pain and discomfort that is associated with other laser procedures used to control the same problem. This technology allows Dr. Vandemoer and his staff to perform a fast and painless in-office procedure which, usually after two treatments, resolves the snoring problem. This same instrument is also used to control sleep problems due to tongue distortion

In addition, this system has provided Dr. Vandemoer with an ability to reduce the swollen membranes in the nose of allergy sufferers; this allows his patients to decrease their use of drugs taken to reduce nasal blockage. This procedure, again, can be performed in-office quickly and painlessly.
