At Hyannis Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, we recognize that your choice of physician is driven both by the doctor's competency and personality. Dr. VandemoerJ. Nicholas Vandemoer, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Vandemoer is board certified in Otolaryngology, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Otolaryngic Allergy, and Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine. A Graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. Vandemoer also completed his Otolaryngology residency at Tulane and a surgical internship at Strong Memorial Hospital University of Rochester. Dr. Vandemoer has served as a Trustee and Chief of Staff at Cape Cod Hospital. He is a Harvard Clinical Instructor at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. His special interests are Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, and Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Vandemoer has been practicing on Cape Cod since 1974. Dr. Vandemoer is a native Spanish speaker and an avid scuba diver and sailor.

Maureen McKayMaureen T. McKay, R.N., C.S., N.P.
Maureen has been working with Dr. Vandemoer since 2005. She received her BSN from Boston College in 1969 and her MSN from MGH Institute of Health Professionals in 1999. Prior to becoming a Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner in 1999, Maureen worked as a VNA nurse for 30 years with certifications in both Community Health and HIV. Maureen has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating Lyme Disease.







Maryanne SavageMaryanne S. Savage, R.N., B.S.N. Nurse Manager and Administrator
Maryanne joined Dr. Vandemoer in September 2006. She received her BSN from Fitchburg State College in 1984. Her professional development includes certificates in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum. She has 26 years of surgical critical care experience. She continues to spend one day a week at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts.

In her role as a Plastic Surgery Nurse she has undergone laser training from Candela Corporation and the Laser Training Institute. She has aesthetic training certificates through the Medical Education Collaborative on Aesthetic Health Dimensions in Botox and advanced dermal filler facial contouring.


Kerin IgoKerin Igo MS, CCC-A
Kerry is Hyannis Ear, Nose and Throat's audiologist where she has worked for 20 years. She worked north of Boston for four years prior to moving to Cape Cod. Kerry received her M.A. from the University of Vermont and her M.S. from Syracuse University. She performs the full range of audiological and inner ear testing, and is able to assist in the fitting of the BAHA hearing device.








Kathleen GrizzleKathleen A. Grizzle, RN
Kathy is the lead allergy nurse, with extensive training and wide experience in allergy testing, both for pollen and food. She is certified in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

 

Our staff includes two receptionists, surgical booking coordinator, medical assistant, surgical scrub technician, an esthetician, and financial staff. Their compassion and understanding allow them to provide quality service and care. They work as a cohesive team, some having been with the practice for over 20 years!
